Bedford Burglary Investigation Ongoing

You asked. Patch answered.

Early last week, Bedford Patch first reported that there had been a string of five residential Bedford burglaries over the weekend and that police were actively seeking leads and information pertaining to the crimes, while simultaneously advising residents to close all doors and windows while away from home.

Later in the week, a Bedford resident submitted a question through out Bedford Patch Facebook page. He wrote:

Hey, hearing a rumor that the people responsible for the burglaries in town recently were caught yesterday morning not for from where some of the burglaries took place. Have you heard anything about this?
Well, Patch looked into the matter, and Monday morning Bedford Detective Lieutenant Michael Griswold informed us that no arrests have been made in connection with the case. The investigation, he added, is still ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Bedford PD at 472-5113.

Bedford Patch will continue to monitor this case and will provide updates if as more information is made available.
