Report: Home Invasion Suspect to Be Directly Indicted in NH

Charles Normil is one of two suspects in the Nov. 2012 home invasion at 7 Proclamation Court.

It's been roughly four months since Bedford Police named Charles Normil as the primary suspect in the 2012 brutal home invasion that left two Bedford residents bloodied and the community in shock.

Today, the Union Leader is reporting that Bedford Police are nearing completion in the investigation into the attack, and that Hillsborough County Attorney Patricia M. LaFrance will likely forego arresting Normil on the outstanding Bedford Police arrest warrant and instead seek direct indictments from a grand jury.

Normil, who has a last reported address in Lawrence, Mass., is currently awaiting trial on charges stemming from a similar home invasion in Methuen, Mass.
