Methuen Home Invasion Left Victim Blind in One Eye
Charles Normil, wanted on Bedford home invasion charges, allegedly attacked Sheena Thompson in Mass. last December.
While Bedford Police and Hillsborough County prosecutors await the exdration of Charles Normil to New Hampshire to face multimple charges related to last November's violent home invasion at 7 Proclamation Court, the victim of another recent home invasion spoke out agint the 32-year-old Lawrence, Mass. resident.
Sheena Thomson of Methuen, Mass. said she was attacked by Normil in December of 2012, just weeks after the Bedford incident.
“The next thing I knew, there was a guy in a mask in front of me with a gun,” Thompson told WMUR-TV. “He held it (the gun) up to my head and told me to give him money that I didn’t have, and when I told him I couldn’t give him anything, he hit me."

Normil allegedly struck Thompson with the butt of his gun in her left eye, causing perminent blindness.
He was arrested in January for the Dec. 14 attack and now faces charges of home invasion, mayhem, carrying a firearm without a license and larceny over $250.

And while Methuen Police told the Union Leader that they don't believe the incident in their town was random, Bedford Police revealed Friday that their investigation indicates the Bedford home invasion was random and based on the location of the house and not the occupants.
Normil, once extradited to New Hampshire, will face wo counts of attempted murder, first degree assault and one count of aggravated felonious sexual and one count of falsifying evidence in the November 2012 home invasion.
