Bedford Home Invasion Suspect a No-Show in Court

Charles Normil is reportedly facing new charges associated with the Nov. 2012 attack.

Last Month, Charles Normil was formally indicted on 13 charges – including attempted murder and rape – stemming from the brutal Thanksgiving weekend home invasion attack on Dr. Eduardo Quesada and his wife Sonia at their 7 Proclamation Court home in Bedford.

And while Hillsborough County Attorney Patricia LaFrance told the Union Leader that proceedings are moving forward in the case against the 33-year-old former Lawrence, Mass. resident, the newspaper is reporting that Normil was unable to attend his arraignment Wednesday to answer to the charges because he is still jailed in Essex County, Mass. facing charges associated with a similar home invasion in Methuen, which took place only weeks after the Bedford attack.

WMUR-TV is also reporting that Normil is facing new charges in the case.

The previous charges against Normil include one count of attempted murder; four counts of rape; two counts of first-degree assault; two counts of second-degree assault; two counts of burglary; and two counts of falsifying physical evidence.
