Bedford Home Invasion Suspect Indicted in NH

Charges included attempted murder and rape.

Nearly six months after Bedford investigators and New Hampshire prosecutors revealed Charles Normil as the primary suspect in in the November 2012 home invasion at 7 Proclamation Court, the 32-year-old former Lawrence resident has been indicted on the charges associated with the case.

Normil is facing 13 felony counts stemming from the Thanksgiving weekend home invasion and brutal assault on Dr. Eduardo Quesada and his late wife, Sonia – who died in an unrelated event in January.

The indictments were made public Thursday by Hillsborough County Superior Court North, according to the Union Leader. They detail the assault, which included a screwdriver, used to stab Quesada multiple times in the head, and a coat hanger, which was reportedly used in the physical and sexual assault of his wife.

The charges against Normil include one count of attempted murder; four counts of rape; two counts of first-degree assault; two counts of second-degree assault; two counts of burglary; and two counts of falsifying physical evidence.
