UPDATE: Burns Beats DeBlois by 98 Votes
Executive Council District 4 GOP recount likely. Burns has leads over DeBlois in Bedford and Londonderry.
UPDATE: Former Hillsborough County Treasurer Robert Burns won the Executive Council District 4 Republican primary by just 98 votes, according to unofficial results posted by the Secretary of State.
The totals:
- Burns: 7,140
- Tom DeBlois of Manchester: 7,042
- Chuck Rolecek of Bedford: 6,534

When the smoke began to clear early this morning, it appeared of Bedford edged out of Manchester for the GOP nomination for the District 4 seat. of Bedford made it a closer three-way battle.
A recount is likely, they told the Union Leader.
According to state election law, candidates have until 5 p.m. to apply for a recount after the state primary.
Burns, at this point, is headed to a General Election matchup with Democrat Christopher Pappas of Manchester.
