Bedford Comedian Cracks the Cover of Time Magazine

Seth Meyers has been on a rapid rise to stardom of late.

It's unlikely another Bedford resident has ever held the honor.

This week, Seth Meyers, the well-known standup comedian and host of Saturday Night Live's popular "Weekend Update" segment, graces the cover of the Jan. 13 edition of Time, which features the magazine's annual "The Year Ahead" index.

Meyers, a graduate of Manchester West High School – who delivered a standing-ovation-generating charitable routine to a sellout crowd of local fans in Bedford in 2012 – has been in the news often since being named Jimmy Fallon's replacement on NBC's Late Night Show last year.
