A teacher of 35 years, Jane Aitken has watched the public schools devolve from institutions of academic learning to breeding grounds for political activism.

An education researcher and activist since 1980 she organized a nationwide research group that exposes educational scams. The group includes parents, teachers, taxpayers, state and local school board members, famous education authors, and a former Reagan Dept. of Education official.
