Last Chance to Get in the Christmas Spirit

There's a ton of things to do around the Granite State this weekend.

SATURDAY

  • Pet Adoption Day. The Animal Rescue Network of New England hosts this event at the First Congregational Church in Pelham at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Bring your pet and while you’re there, pose for pictures with Santa.   
  • Holiday Open House. Company C will be celebrating the holiday season with an open house at its Concord retail store at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The Moonshine fashion truck will be stopping by at 11 a.m.
  • Auction, Brunch. The Coach Stop Restaurant in Londonderry hosts its annual holiday homecoming brunch from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Democratic politicos are expected to speak at the event. Tickets are $35; $60 per couple.
  • River Card Room Benefit. A benefit for the Nashua Senior Activity Center will be held at The River Card Room in Milford at noon on Saturday. 
  • 12 Angry Jurors. Windham High School Theater Company presents this drama on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the high school theatre. Tickets are $7 to $10.
  • The Nutcracker. The Northern Ballet Theatre presents “The Nutcracker” at the Keefe Auditorium in Nashua at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $18 to $22. 
  • Christmas Spectacular. The Peacock Players present its family event at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, and again at 2 p.m. on Sunday in Nashua.
  • Christmas at Brookside. The Manchester Congregational Church will be hosting its annual Christmas concert at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
  • The Nutcracker. Gate City Ballet presents its version of “The Nutcracker” at the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy in Derry at 1 and 4 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $16 to $18. 
  • A Dicken’s Christmas. All Saints’ Anglican Church in Concord offers its free annual holiday presentation at 6 p.m. on Saturday. 
  • Christmas at the Crossing. From 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday in Windham, enjoy holiday festivities including a scenic sleigh ride, holiday lights, and more. Tickets are $15.
  • Naughty & Nice. This duo, featuring Peg Chaffee and Cheryl Sager, play the Spireside Coffee House in Dunbarton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.  
  • Stephen Kellogg. The singer-songwriter offers his Alone for the Holiday Part Deux concert at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $25.
  • Wildfire Band. Whippersnappers Restaurant in Londonderry is the place to see the band on Saturday night. The first set starts at 9:30 p.m. 

SUNDAY

  • Antiques. New England’s Weekly Winter Antiques Show offers 80 dealers at the Hampshire Hills Sports Club in Milford from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Sunday. 
  • Caroling and Organ Music. The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Concord offers its Christmas Celebration concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday. 
  • Gift of Lights. The New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosts its Gift of Lights charity event from 4:30 to 9 p.m. every evening. Enjoy the thousands of lights on display. Tickets are $15 per car load, Monday through Thursday; $20 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Also, don't forget to bring a food donation for the Loudon Food Pantry. 
  • John Paul’s Christmas Show. Stop by Whippersnappers Restaurant in Londonderry for this special holiday concert starting at 7:30 p.m.
