Lots of Snow-Related Closings and Cancellations in Bedford

Check back here regularly for an updated list of schools and businesses impacted by Tuesday's snow storm.


The snow is falling hard and accidents are already being reported around the state, including a rollover on the Everett Turnpike, south of Bedford tolls, near Exit 12 in Merrimack.

As emergency officials urge residents to stay off the roads, many Bedford schools and businesses are beginning to react accordingly. 

Here's the latest list of snow-related closings (add additional closings and cancelations in the comment section below): 

  • Bedford High School - All after school activities are canceled today including any clubs, extra help, all athletics.
  • McKelvie Intermediate School - The A Cappella Concert scheduled tonight at 7:30 has been rescheduled due to the weather. The concert will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Ross A. Lurgio School - Activities and athletics are cancelled for this afternoon.
  • Peter Woodbury School - Homework Club and chorus are cancelled this afternoon. The after school program is still running.
  • Bedford Youth Performing Company - Closed at 2 p.m. No Tuesday classes.
  • Bedford Martial Arts Academy - All after-school programs, as well as all afternoon and evening classes are canceled.
  • ATA Martial Arts - All evening classes and black belt presentation have been canceled.
  • St. Elizabeth Seton - No Tuesday night religious classes.
  • Sylvan Learning Center - All afternoon and evening classes canceled.
