1. Bill Gardner in Bedford today. New Hampshire's Secretary of State will  speak with Bedford High School students at the BCTV Town Meeting Room at 10 Meetinghouse Road at 4 p.m. today. for more information.

2. Snow? What's snow? According to Weather.com snow will fall during the morning hours, accumulating 1-3 inches, before giving way to a mixture of rain and snow during the afternoon. The forecasted high today is 39 degrees.

3. Rumor has it ... A major Hollywood filmmaker may be shooting in Bedford next week. We have yet to receive confirmation in terms of an exact date, time and location, but we'll let you know if and when we do.

4. Academic Achievements of the Day. Katherine M. Labombarde of Bedford, is one of 802 students at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg named to the university's Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2011-12 academic year. Labombarde is a sophomore at the University of Mary Washington. The Dean's List recognizes outstanding academic achievement at the university by full-time students who attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
