Mitt Romney will spend the Fourth of July week vacationing in New Hampshire, according to a Washington Post story.
In a lengthy feature printed on Sunday, the newspaper said Romney and about 30 members of his family will be at the GOP presidential candidate's $8 million lakefront compound in Wolfeboro all week. While there, they'll participate in an annual competition including various sports and games that has been dubbed "the Romney Olympics."
Apparently, there are also nightly family meetings, a "chore wheel" to be sure everyone is doing their fair share, and a family picture with all of the grandchildren.
Word is Romney will march in the Wolfeboro Fourth of July parade on Wednesday, though it isn't clear if he'll make any other campaign appearances. The campaign said a rumor that he was going to march in the Merrimack Fourth of July parade was untrue.
According to ABC News, Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, will march with Romney in the Wolfeboro parade. Ayotte is one of several people reportedly under consideration to be Romney's running mate.
