Mitt Romney Vacationing in NH This Week

His entire family will gather at Romney's lakefront compound in Wolfeboro.

Mitt Romney will spend the Fourth of July week vacationing in New Hampshire, according to a Washington Post story.

In a lengthy feature printed on Sunday, the newspaper said Romney and about 30 members of his family will be at the GOP presidential candidate's $8 million lakefront compound in Wolfeboro all week. While there, they'll participate in an annual competition including various sports and games that has been dubbed "the Romney Olympics."

Apparently, there are also nightly family meetings, a "chore wheel" to be sure everyone is doing their fair share, and a family picture with all of the grandchildren.

Word is Romney will march in the Wolfeboro Fourth of July parade on Wednesday, though it isn't clear if he'll make any other campaign appearances. The campaign said a rumor that he was going to march in the Merrimack Fourth of July parade was untrue.

According to ABC News, Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, will march with Romney in the Wolfeboro parade. Ayotte is one of several people reportedly under consideration to be Romney's running mate.

Judith Hogan and Frances Quinn Just to clarify, what the Shill says is incorrect, Romney has no protection from the Government SS. The secret service does not protect presidential Candidates, until the have been chosen after the Convention normally or for extenuating circumstances. Obama was given it early by “Executive Order” from Bush, because of credible threats. It is normally 120 days before the election or around August. The Shill never gets it right lol. Probably will disbelieve the “Secret Service” it self lol. http://www.secretservice.gov/protection.shtml “Today, the Secret Service is authorized by law (18 United States Code § 3056) to protect: Major presidential and vice presidential candidates and their spouses within 120 days of a general presidential election. As defined in statute, the term "major presidential and vice presidential candidates" means those individuals identified as such by the Secretary of Homeland Security after consultation with an advisory committee consisting of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the minority leader of the House of Representatives, the majority and minority leaders of the Senate, and one additional member selected by the other members of the committee. Other individuals as designated per Executive Order of the President”

Thankyou for the correction. I was not aware of that obviously lol. They must have had threats, though they never say that. But when you become the front runner I don't have a problem with it anyway, no matter who the canidate is, and lets face it, mormans have a problem with lot of people no diffrent then what Obama did, shamfully. But I would rather they err on the side of caution, and I could care less what it cost, security is what it is. Now nights on Broadway wife your wife, totally different lol We are not some third world country that changes with violence at the drop of a hat. ;-}
