Three notable Republicans headline upcoming GOP events.

Too early, you say?

No, in New Hampshire, it's never too early for presidential politics.

Though we've yet to see our first Democratic 2016 contender (possibly because Hillary is seen as such an overwhelming favorite), the Granite State has already been visited by Rand Paul and Bobby Jindal so far this year. And August is shaping up to be the busiest month yet for visits by 2016 presidential hopefuls and big-name former candidates.

On Aug. 6, 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is scheduled to headline a NHGOP fundraiser in the Lakes Region, not far from his summer home.

Ten days later, on Aug. 16, former Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is scheduled to attend an NHGOP fundraiser and an event sponsored by the Nashua Republican City Committee.

And over the weekend, it was announced that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) will attend an NHGOP fundraiser on Aug. 23 in Manchester. Cruz, a Tea Party favorite, has also been invited to speak at Cornerstone Action's annual dinner in the fall.

Yes, it's shaping up as a truly presidential summer in New Hampshire.
