Rand Paul Coming to Bedford? Sort of...

He's scheduled to appear via Skype at an event on Saturday in Bedford.

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) will be one of the featured speakers at an anti-Obamacare event being held on Saturday in Bedford.

Paul won't actually be there, but will be participating in the event via Skype, according to event organizers.

The town hall, sponsored by FreedomWorks and the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Manchester Country Club, located at 180 South River Road. The topic of discussion will be the grassroots strategy to defeat the Obamacare expansion, how to educate others on the issue, and how to encourage Republican Senators to oppose the bill.

In addition to Paul, featured speakers will include:

  • State Sen. Andy Sanborn
  • Aaron Day, chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus
  • Dean Clancy, FreedomWorks vice president of Health Care Policy
  • Whitney Neal, grassroots director at FreedomWorks
  • State Rep. George Lambert
  • Former State Sen. Gary Lambert
