Bedford Man Elected Regional Director for Young Republicans

Former executive council candidate accepts national position.

Among the many positions he has held in his relatively young political career, Bob Burns already served (and in some cases continues to serve) as Hillsborough County Treasurer; Bedford Republican Committee Treasurer; Greater Manchester Young Republicans Chairman; National Committeeman for the New Hampshire Young Republicans; and New Hampshire Director for Newt Gingrich's 2012 campaign.

The 35-year-old Bedford resident also ran for New Hampshire Executive Council in 2012. He won the Republican primary, but fell to Democrat Christopher Pappas in the general election.

Now, he's adding a national title to his resume.
