When and Where Are Bedford Burglaries Occurring?

Bedford Police opened their doors to residents Wednesday night to address a string of recent Bedford burglaries.

The public information meeting provided practical statistics and information regarding burglaries and crime prevention, and members of Bedford's command staff fielded a number of questions from residents including several inquiries concerning the nine recent Bedford burglaries.

Among the many questions answered, Lt. Michael Griswold provided information about the times and locations of the recent burglaries.

He said that while the exact time frame for each burglary is tough to pinpoint since the homeowner was typically out of town, he said investigators are focusing in on the 2-7 p.m. timeframe and on the New Boston Road corridor, specifically older homes in that area.
