Man Wanted in Probe of 'Suspicious Deaths' in Manchester Fire

The NH AG, Manchester police and the state Fire Marshal are looking for a 'person of interest' in their investigation of the explosion and fire March 24.

New Hampshire law enforcement agencies are on the look-out for a man wanted, as a "person of interest," in connection with two deaths in an explosion and fire in Manchester on March 24.

Authorities labeled the fire and the deaths as "suspicious."

The Attorney General's Office, Manchester police and the state Fire Marshal on Tuesday announced they are looking for Matthew T. Dion, 38, who is 5'8" and about 200 pounds. He is believed to be driving a white 2009 Nissan Altima, with New Hampshire registration 3410587, police said.

A man and a woman were found dead in the Mooresville Road fire, which was reported around 2:40 p.m. Monday. Firefighters discovered their bodies within the residence.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will be conducting autopsies on the two adults to determine their cause and manner of death, as well as their identity.
