Bedford Police to Conduct 'Active Shooter' Exercise at School

Bedford PD urges motorists to avoid the area of County and Nashua roads Monday, April 28, during the training.

The Bedford Police Department will conduct training exercises at the Bedford High School – Middle School Complex on Monday, April 28.

The schools are closed for spring vacation from April 28 to May 2.

Bedford officers will be conducting the exercises from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and motorists are urged to avoid the area of County and Nashua roads during that time due to traffic congestion.

Bedford PD has conducted similar training exercises at the school before.
