Bedford Home Invasion Suspect Slated for March Trial

Charles Normil is scheduled for trial in Massachusetts this spring, after which he will be brought to New Hampshire to face charges here.

The primary suspect in a brutal November 2012 home invasion in Bedford is slated for trial in Massachusetts on March 24, according to the Union Leader.

Charles Normil, 33, formerly of Lawrence, MA was indicted in September on 13 felony counts stemming from the Thanksgiving weekend home invasion and brutal assault on Dr. Eduardo Quesada and his late wife, Sonia – who died in an unrelated event in January of 2013.

Search warrants were unsealed this fall revealing many disturbing and graphic details associated with the crime.

Normil was originally scheduled for trial on home invasion charges out of Massachusetts on Jan. 13, but that date was delayed to March 24. Prosecutors here say they'll wait for the conclusion of the Massachusetts trial before starting proceedings against Normil in New Hampshire.
