Church Community Mourns Navy Vet, Revolutionary War Reenactor

Raymond Donald Bouvier, 58, a master electrician, was a member of Southside Bible Fellowship Church.

Raymond Donald Bouvier, 58, of Bedford, passed away on January 13, 2014 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

He was born in Manchester on April 16, 1955, the son of Marcel and Stella (Therriault) Bouvier and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a United States Navy Veteran and was a master electrician by trade. He was an avid hunter, gun enthusiast and enjoyed participating in Revolutionary War reenactments. He was an active member of the Southside Bible Fellowship Church.

Family members include his father Marcel Bouvier of Bedford; a brother, Robert Bouvier and his wife Chrys of Georgetown, TX; a niece, Christine Bouvier of Arlington, VA; a nephew, Daniel Bouvier of Surprise, AZ; three great grandnephews and nieces; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home chapel on Monday morning at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Daniel Bowman, pastor of Southside Bible Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Prison Fellowship Ministries, PO Box 1550, Merrifield, VA 22116.
