New Show About Bulldog Boosters

Ever since there has been a Bedford High School, there has been a dedicated group of people involved in the  Bedford Bulldog Athletic Booster Club, who work tirelessly together to raise money to assist the high school sports teams with needed materials, travel expenses, and various amenities that are not covered via the high school's budget.

At both indoor and outdoor games, you'll see Club members serving up hot dogs, pizza, and other snacks to raise money for the Club's projects, which include hosting "Meet the Coach" nights and awards presentations, and for such lofty goals as the successful provision of college scholarships each year. 

A major fundraiser for the Club is an annual raffle for which they sell only 200 tickets, thus giving ticket buyers a 1 in 200 chance to win one of many prizes, with the first prize being as much as $3000 cash! That event will take place later this month.

This week, a new "Tell It Like It Is" show begins airing on BCTV Channel 16 that tells all about the Bedford Boosters. Titled accordingly "Bedford Boosters", the show features Club President Dave Gilbert, and we talk about all of the various things that have been funded by the Boosters over the past 7 years. The list is huge! We also talk about how people can help out the Boosters with their time, talents, donations, and support of the Booster fundraising efforts.

The show began airing today on BCTV, and will run twice daily through to Thursday night on the following schedule:

Friday/Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday - 9:00 AM, 9:30 PM
Saturday/Monday/Wednesday - 1:00 PM, 8:30 PM
