Former Congresswoman Shea-Porter Continues to Hide from Her Record, This Time Trying to Censor Local Media

Former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter is at it again; continuing her record of trying to hide from Granite State voters. This time she is trying to censor a local cable access television show.

(Manchester – August 24, 2012) Former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter is at it again; continuing her record of trying to hide from Granite State voters.  This time she is trying to censor a local cable access television show.

This morning’s New Hampshire Union Leader covered a story about a Bedford community access television producer being pressured by the former Congresswoman to not air an interview taped earlier this week, “a move the host calls censorship.” You can read the full article, here: http://www.unionleader.com/article/20120824/NEWS06/708249974 or read BCTV host/producer Kathy Benuck's take by

Derek Dufresne, Spokesman, Guinta for Congress, release the following statement:

“Former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter hasn’t had a single Town Hall meeting, rarely releases a public schedule, and has a website that offers no opportunity for Granite Staters to see where she stands on the most important issues facing our country. Despite the New Hampshire tradition of being open and accessible, it’s no surprise the former Congresswoman is trying to hide from her partisan Washington record once again.”
