ObamaCare Freezes out Vital New Hampshire Industry
The winter months bring a number of skiers to New Hampshire's slopes, making this one of the most important industries in the state. Unfortunately, it was recently reported that there stands a very good chance that provisions within ObamaCare will force a shortening of this season, causing a loss of jobs and a serious disruption to our local economy.
Frank Guinta released the following statement:
“ObamaCare’s mandate on businesses to provide insurance for seasonal workers will likely force employers to shorten the ski season that New Hampshire relies on. This will detrimentally affect middle-class Granite Staters whose paycheck is dependent upon this industry. As we have shown through our Health Care Listening Tour, there are far better ways to provide quality, low cost health insurance than ObamaCare’s top down, government centered approach. We need to move immediately to repeal this legislation and put in place reforms that will cover more Americans without destroying the middle-class and the businesses that sustain them.”
