Guinta Continues Health Care Listening Tour at Parkland Medical CenterFrank Guinta, Candidate for Congress, continued his Health Care Listening Tour today in Derry at Parkland Medical Center. Parkland is Derry’s largest private employer and one of ten hospitals in New Hampshire excluded from the Obamacare Exchange.

Frank Guinta released the following statement:

“Parkland’s exclusion from the Obamacare Exchange sets in motion a painful cycle, particularly for middle-class families. After hearing from those impacted, it's clear that people who need care the most will have to travel greater distances to be seen, and the loss of patients could negatively affect the services provided by Parkland. This is to say nothing of the devastating affect Obamacare is having on the middle class and seniors. Granite Staters are being crushed by the bevy of taxes, increased premiums and the loss of the 40 hour work week while seniors were recently told that Medicare Advantage would be cut to pay for Obamacare. It is long past time to implement patient centered, market based reforms to drive down costs while increasing access to affordable, quality health care.”
