Dozens of Bedford club and town officials were present Thursday afternoon when the switch was flipped on Bedford's Memorial Christmas Tree.
Located at the intersection of Bedford Center Road and Church Road, with the Bedford Presbyterian Church looming atop the hill, the town's Christmas tree was lit in a ceremony presented by The Bedford Women’s Club.
In addition to members of the Bedford Police and Fire Departments, a small contingent of Bedford Veterans were present at the event, and the Bedford High School choir sang both patriotic hymns as well as seasonal tunes.
