Simon malls are encouraging children across the country to develop a love for literature and learning with books. On March 2nd, Simon Kidgits Club at The Mall of New Hampshire is hosting its free 10th annual Book Blast event and inviting families to participate and be inspired to read together at home and beyond.
Simon Kidgits Club’s Book Blast is offering an assortment of fun book-based activities to ultimately help kids reap the many benefits of reading. Book Blast event offerings include a read-aloud session presented by the Manchester Police Department, set to take place from 11:00am to 1:00pm in Center Court.
Everyone’s favorite detective, Nate the Great, will make a special appearance at the book blast. Featured books to be read aloud include Nate the Great Goes under Cover, Nate the Great on the Owl Express, Nate the Great Stolen Base and Nate the Great Boring Beach. Children have the opportunity to participate in coloring activities and decorate a Library Tote Bag at the event. Children are invited to bring a new or gently used book to the event to be donated to Noah’s Ark Day Care, further fostering the importance of reading within the community.
