Free Ski and Snowboard Lessons in NH

SkiNH offering free lessons, lift tickets and rentals for first-timers between Jan 12. and 18.

Have you always wanted to learn to ski or snowboard but didn't want to pony up the cash? Do you want to encourage a friend or family member to check it out? Your chance to take lessons or get your friends into lessons is coming up later this month and it's completely free.

According to SkiNH.com, Ski NH is holding a Learn to Ski and Snowboard Free week from Jan. 12 through Jan. 18 at more than a dozen ski areas in NH. 

According to Ski NH, "First-time downhill skiers and snowboarders receive a free learn to ski or snowboard lesson, free equipment rentals and a free beginner terrain lift ticket. First-time cross country skiers receive a free learn to ski lesson, free equipment rentals and a free trail pass. Participants must register with Ski NH to download a Learn to Ski & Ride Free coupon, then make a reservation with one of our participating resorts."

Participating Downhill Ski Areas For 2013 include:
Bretton Woods (age 13 and older)
Cannon Mountain (age 13 and older)
Cranmore Mountain Resort (age 13 and older)
Dartmouth Skiway (age 13 and older)
Granite Gorge (age 5 and older, Sunday only)
Gunstock Mountain Resort (age 6 and older)
King Pine at Purity Spring Resort (age 13 and older)
Loon Mountain (age 13 and older, Sunday-Friday only)
Pats Peak (age 6 and older, Monday-Thursday only)
Ragged Mountain (age 13 and older)
Waterville Valley (age 7 and older)

Great Glen Trails (age 6 and older, Monday-Friday only)
