Don't Miss Out on National Taco Day!

Here are six things you should know today.

1. Everyone loves tacos! So why not celebrate Mexico's greatest gift to the United States?! Today, in fact, is National Taco Day, and there are plenty of fantastic deals to be had at local Mexican restaurants, including, but certainly not limited to, Margarita's Taco Gigante and ice cold Sam Adams Octoberfest for $9.99!

2. Get thrifty this Halloween! The Bedford Girl Scouts are hosting a Halloween Costume Exchange event at the Bedford Public Library from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Bring by a costume or buy one for $5.

3. Help raise money for breast cancer research. Southern New Hampshire Medical Center's social media charity campaign for the month of October is going to help fund breast cancer research. According to the area hospital, for each new like it receives on Facebook this month, the SNHMC will donate a dollar to the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition. What a worthy cause! Go click like today.

  • Tonight: A slight chance of showers before 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 49.
  • Saturday: A slight chance of showers after noon. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 68. 
  • Saturday Night: A chance of showers, mainly after 3 a.m. Patchy fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy during the early evening, then becoming cloudy, with a low around 52. 
  • Sunday: A chance of showers. Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 71. 
  • Sunday Night: A chance of showers. Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 59.
