CRACKERFUDGE Candy Co. Comes to the Bedford Farmers' Market

Here are a handful of things you should know in Bedford today.

1. Market fresh! It's Tuesday and, of course, that mean's the Bedford Farmers' Market is held today from 3-6 p.m. The market's newest vendor is the Crackerfudge Candy Company, LLC, which offers a variety of delicious chocolates and toppings, with multiple combinations from which to choose. In addition, The Larson Brothers Band from Goffstown will be at the market this week. They perform acoustic Irish and American folk music at local events, including farmers markets. Instruments include fiddles, guitar, mandolin, and vocals. 2. The weatherman says ... Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high temperature of 83 degrees and a 20-percent chance of rain. The overnight low is 70 degrees with a 30-percent chance of isolated thunderstorms.

5. Looking ahead. The Bedford Town Council gathers at 7 p.m. Wednesday night at the BCTV Bedford Town Meeting Room. Among other agenda items, councilors will discuss a new Bedford Fire Department substation on South River Road.
