Bedford Enters Negotiations With Potential Town Manager
Here are five things you should know today.
1. New town manager on the near horizon? The Bedford Town Council, Wednesday night, agreed to enter into contract negotiations with one of the remaining two applicants in its Municipal Resources, Inc.-led search to replace Jessie Levine, according to Bedford Town Council Chairman Chris Bandazian. He said he was unable to provide any additional details at this time.
2. The weatherman says ... temperatures cool a bit today, with the forecasted high dropping to 38 degrees. Clouds are expected throughout the day, and there is a 30-percent chance of afternoon showers. The overnight low is 30 degrees with a 10-percent chance of precipitation.
3. Library closed for upcoming holiday. Don't forget, the Bedford Public Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Never fear, there are still plenty of fun activities on the agenda. Find this week's library calendar here.
