VIDEO: Rick Perry Drives a Robot

The GOP candidate spoke at Granite State Manufacturing in Manchester today.

Rick Perry held a town hall meeting at Granite State Manufacturing in Manchester on Wednesday morning. But before heading out to the manufacturing floor to address employees, he got to test drive one of the bomb detonating robots made by the company.

During his town hall meeting, Perry outlined his plan to "Overhaul Washington," which includes eliminating several government agencies and cutting Congress' salary in half.

Perry's campaign also took some heat for asking members of the media entering the facility if they were U.S. citizens, saying they wouldn't be allowed in otherwise. The campaign later clarified that anyone could come in, but foreigners would have to be accompanied by an employee due to security regulations, as GSM is a defense contractor.
