T-Bones Wins Three Awards

Bedford restaurant named Best in New Hampshire in three categories.

Perhaps it's fitting, given the fact the awards were announced the week heading into Independence Day weekend, but is making a habit of earning local accolades.

The restaurant was recently honored by the people of the Granite State for excelling in three categories in New Hampshire Magazine's Best of New Hampshire 2011 readers' poll.

For the seventh consecutive year, the T-Bones' eight-ounce hamburger took top honors among local chains. Examples of T-Bones popular burgers include the All-American, which is topped with cheese, lettuce and tomato and the Caprese, which offers a taste of Italy.

But what would a burger be without french fries? T-Bones, for the first time, won the best french fries award by a local chain thanks to the eatery's selection of classic country fries and tasty sweet potato fries.

Last, but not least, the restaurant's children's menu earned the nod for best children's menu for a second straight year.
That menu, which is spit in two, offers smaller plates for "Lil' Appetites," which includes a hot dog and macaroni and cheese, among other similar dishes, and for “Bigger Appetites,” patrons may order from a selection that includes a sliced sirloin or a roasted turkey dinner.

“To win in some of the same categories year after year really means a lot to us at T-Bones” said Tom Boucher, owner and chief executive officer of Great NH Restaurants. “I thank our guests so much for choosing to dine with us and for speaking so highly of our food through readers’ polls such as the Best of New Hampshire.”

In addition to T-Bones' Bedford location, Derry, Hudson, Laconia and Salem also maintain a Great American Eatery location.
