Small Business Owners Say They Support Ron Paul [VIDEO]

Bedford legislator also endorses presidential candidate.

Just hours before being embraced in Concord by a large group of New Hampshire small business leaders - including NH Rep. Keith Murphy (R-Bedford), who owns Murphy's Taproom in Manchester and today announced he's endorsing Ron Paul's bid for the presidency - the Texas congressman met with a group of local entrepreneurs in Bedford.

The New Hampshire-made Small Business Expo, which was held at , brought dozens of supporters, several of whom are looking for a spark to ignite their fledgling businesses.

"I brought him here because of his values and what he stands behind, which is our Constitution," said Enviro-Tote President Nancy Sampro, "and talking to a group of small business owners, he's the perfect match, most of us feel, to help us with our missions and goals as business people who employ so many workers amongst ourselves, to get the economy back working."

"He's very clear about where we're headed as a country, and I totally agree with him and I just wish more people would listen to what he has to say with an open mind," said NH small business owner and artist David B. Wiggins.

Among a plethora of topics, Paul spoke at length about his desire to cut spending and return United States currency to respectability, and asked those in attendance to help send a message to the rest of the country by voting for him in the .

"It's up for grabs right now, what's going on in the next election ... and a statement made here in this state, because it's the first real primary, has a lot of significance," said Paul. "I ask your support for what I'm trying to do, and move us along in the cause of liberty because it's liberty what we need. We don't need more government."
