Last night, 12 Sullivan Tire employees traveled to Canton, Mass., to play a wheelchair basketball game against Massachusetts Hospital School students.
Among those participating were Mark Hutchinson, an employee of Sullivan Tire in Bedford, and John Miller, a Sullivan Tire supervisor from Weymouth.
The friendly game was organized by Miller, whose 18-year-old son Cameron has cerebral palsy and attends the Massachusetts Hospital School.
The team struggles to find opponents and schedule games, so Miller gathered the 12 employees to help boost morale for the school’s team, have a fun experience and bring awareness to this school's program.
There were two 20-minute halves, and the MHS squad handily defeated Team Sullivan, 18-4.
