New England Gymnastics Training Center of Hudson has sent local gymnasts to compete in two meets since the New Year – the Winter Carnival in Straham, NH - for levels 4, 5 and 6 - and a home meet for levels 4, 5, 6 and Prep Opt.
Gymnasts who have received a qualifying score of 31.0 or higher will be invited to complete in the New Hampshire State Sectional competition, and if they receive a score of 33.0 or higher, they'll will be invited to the NH State Meet, which is scheduled for the weekend of April 1.
Results are as follows:
Level 5 (7-8 year olds)
Tara McGadden (NEGTC) earned first in the All-Around with a score of 35.9. She received an 8.4 on Vault (1st place), 9.4 on Bars (1st), 9.0 on Beam (1st), 9.1 on Floor (1st).

Sheridan McGadden (NEGTC) placed second All-Around with a score of 32.35. She received an 7.9 on Vault (2nd), 7.6 on Bars (3rd), 8.8 on Beam (2nd), 9.05 on Floor (3rd).

Level 6 (11-12 year olds)
Aidan McGadden (NEGTC) won first All-Around with a score of 34.05. She received an 8.75 on Vault (1st ), 8.3 on Bars (1st), 8.8 on Beam (3rd), 8.2 on Floor (2nd).
Prep-Opt Intermediate
Brooke Williams (NEGTC) took fifth All-Around with a score of 34.4. She received an 8.4 on Vault (5th place), 8.6 on Bars (tied for 5th place), 8.4 on Beam (tied for 5th place), 9.0 on Floor (3rd place).
The girl’s teams are coached by Tim Madore (Owner), Bea Boldu, Catie Jarvis. Ashley Neagle, Melanie Streeter and Jodi Turner. New England Gymnastics Training Center is located at 5 Tracy Lane, off Route 102 (next to Comcast cable) on the Londonderry/Hudson town line.
The next meet, the Manhattan Classic will be held the weekend of Feb.4-5 in New York City.
