Allegedly Intoxicated Bedford Man Wrecks Corvette, Leaves Scene

47-year-old charged with conduct after an accident, DWI, operating after suspension and more.

A Bedford man was arrested Saturday night after allegedly driving intoxicated and crashing his yellow 2006 Chevy Corvette.

Bedford Police, shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Campbell Road, near the intersection of Wellesley Road, and found the vehicle off the shoulder of the road.

It had heavy passenger side damage – including a missing rear wheel, which was located in the nearby roadway – and appeared to have been traveling east on Campbell Road when it lost control attempting to negotiate the corner and slid off the pavement into a tree stump, according to police.
