2. Local Achievements of the Day. Kyle John Roosen, a resident of Bedford, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in PRTM (Professional Golf Management) from Clemson University Dec. 22, 2011. Roosen was among 1,121 students who received degrees at the ceremony.

3. MLK Day Closures. All Bedford Town Offices, as well as the U.S. Post Office, will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
